Baptism Preparation Information:
Within the past three years, have you attended a Baptism Preparation class OR had a child baptized?
- Yes –
* If the class was at another parish, have that parish submit a letter acknowledging class participation. It is to be submitted when you are scheduling the baptism. - No – Classes are typically offered every second Saturday and Fourth Saturday of each month from 9:00am – 12:00pm. Must be registered.
No children Allowed
Both parents and godparents are required to attend the class.
If you are members of another parish:
You will need to submit a “Letter of Permission” from your pastor which states that you are registered parishioners of that parish and which grants permission for the baptism to occur at Saint John Paul II. (Code of Canon Law: Can. 857 §2). It is to be submitted when you are scheduling the baptism.
